Your Member News

Please find below a range of online support services now available to you! Enabling members to participate in London Youth training and to network with one another.

Whats happening:

  • Online training covering working digitally, mental health and safeguarding is now available to book here.
  • Next week, we will host our first Connecting During Covid-19 Forum. This will be an informal, safe and welcoming space for youth sector professionals across the capital to network, share best practice and learn from each other during this period of uncertainty. Should there be appetite, we will explore repeating more regularly.
  • Dare London, our youth advisory board, met via Zoom for the first time last week. Kadisha from our social action team talks here about the how the meetings have changed and why we must still amplify young people's voices at this time.

At our AGM last week, Stephen Moss CBE became the new Chair of London Youth. Read here about why young people and the youth sector are so important to him.

We have a range of creative opportunities for you to engage your young people with over Easter. Don’t forget to also access our weekly sports calendar for ideas for keeping them active too.

Lastly, do please continue to support the #EveryDayCounts campaign led by NCVO – securing a package of financial support from Government for our sector is now critical.

Best wishes,
Rosemary Watt-Wyness | Chief Executive
